Where did this Bovine trend come from? We all know that Millennial Pink, terracotta products and décor inspired by global travel are huge for 2018. So where does this cow madness fit in?

For its first collection of 2018, Rayell has answered its customers’ requests for bovine imagery to appear across the ranges. But the company is slightly perplexed where this fits with the trends for the coming year.

Perhaps in this super tech connected world there is a real desire to reflect our need to get back in touch with nature and natural elements. This perspective is certainly in keeping with furniture trends to make what’s old new again. Many interior publications and articles are singing the praises of recycling furniture to bring that quirky but authentic element into today’s décor.

Maybe we can explain the cow’s popularity by noting that texture is bigger than ever this year. We all talk about texture that we can feel, so it goes without saying that texture can also be present in imagery on wall art.
