With hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of products to discover, the AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair can make an impact if you’re not prepared. From first time buyers to seasoned pros, here are four helpful tools to ensure you make the most of your Melbourne Gift Fair visit.
As a professional trade only event, registration is essential. Avoid the queues and fast track your entry on the day by registering online. First time visitors can register in four easy steps to receive the Print@Home badge required for entry two weeks before the fair.
Returning visitors don’t need to create a new registration—simply log in and confirm your attendance for the upcoming fair and begin counting down the days!
Think of the Exhibition Directory as your Melbourne Gift Fair bible. It contains everything you need to plan a successful buying trip, including the exhibitors, brands and categories to expect, floor plans and valuable venue information (like where to stop for a much needed break!).
The Exhibition Directory is sent out to eligible buyers four weeks before the fair, giving you plenty of time to pinpoint the suppliers you want to see. This will help maximise your time and ensure you tick off everyone on your list, leaving time to wander the aisles in search of the next big thing.
You’ll be given a copy of the Buyers Guide on arrival at the fair. A lot is packed into this guide, including a handy foldout map, making it easy to locate suppliers and workout where you need to be. Plus, with AGHA Members exhibiting in one venue for the first time this August, it will be easier than ever to fit as many suppliers as possible into your visit. Make sure you give yourself enough time, to ensure you see all the exhibitiors you want to.
Don’t forget to follow along on social media. Following the live updates from the Melbourne Gift Fair trade floor (@agha_social) and tracking the event hashtag (#melbournegiftfair, #aghagiftfairs) is a great way to discover new suppliers and products, and even connect with fellow buyers. A power bank for your phone will also come in handy as you’ll likely be writing lots of notes and snapping shots to remind you who you spoke to, and a good old fashioned notebook and pen is always useful.
The AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair will run from 4 to 8 August at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
