Are you looking to maximise the biggest gift giving time of the year? Do you want to know about the latest Christmas trends and what to look for when buying new stock? Or are you looking to improve your skills and knowledge to take your business to the next level?

Then don’t miss our latest digital magazine brought to you by Giftguide & Reed Gift Fairs.

As we are becoming more conscious of the world around us and the damage that has already been done to our planet, rising demand for eco-friendly and handmade items is changing the way products are manufactured. On page 10 we delve deeper into these topics and talk to suppliers who are changing the industry product by product.

Whether it is social media and developing your own website or crafting the perfect retail space ready for the Christmas season, Retail Therapy will provide retailers with the skills and the knowledge they need to take their business to the next level. Held in August during the Reed Gift Fair in Melbourne, check out page 14 to find out more about this exciting event.

As we leave palm trees, jungle prints and flamingos behind, we move into the moody hues of a totally new season. Heidi Harper from Harper Collective takes us through the colours and trends for the upcoming silly season on page 16.

With Reed Gift Fair just around the corner, retailers have started planning their trips to make sure they maximise the limited time they have at the show.

Attending a gift fair is an exciting but extremely busy time. There are suppliers to see and thousands of new products to discover, not to mention a crazy amount of inspiration to soak up. However, most retailers only have a limited time to spend at the show. On page 18 we share some tips to help you have a successful buying trip and keep kicking goals for your store.

This issue also features some great profiles on high profile companies (starting on page 20) exhibiting at the August fair. Fratelli Guzzini Spa will be at the Melbourne Showgrounds showcasing its latest products including the Le Murrine and My Fusion Bowls featuring Guzzini's exclusive three-colour technology.

We also talk to Kerry Bower, co-founder and designer of Raine & Humble, which will also be at the Melbourne Showgrounds, and we look at the growth of Independence Studios, which went from selling a small range at the markets to a business stocking more than 20 global brands. Independence Studios will be at the MCEC.

Our product showcase, starting on page 26, features exciting and innovative products from emerging as well as all-time favourite premium brands, which will be on display at Reed Gift Fair in Melbourne at both the MCEC and Showgrounds.

Reed Gift Fair Melbourne runs from 4-8 August.
