Dolce Toys creates beautiful soft toys which are scientifically proven to develop a child’s cognitive functions. Its products are authenticated by STEM.org, making them the first soft toy manufacturer to have its entire line certified by this prestigious organisation. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Artiwood is the local distributor of this boutique European brand. Dolce’s soft toys have been surprisingly popular with pre-school educators says  Andrew McGregor, Artiwood’s managing director, as demand from this sector saw it sell out of several popular toys over winter. “We’re understandably delighted by this reassuring real-world endorsement of its sensory and exploratory attributes.”

The Dolce collection includes 28 toys such as well recognised animals like kangaroo, owl, zebra, whale and flamingo. Each character offers an array of sensory features including squeakers, rattles, mirror panels, fabric peek-a-boo windows, crinkle trims, silicon teethers and textured fabrics. Children will enjoy playing with these unique toys again and again.

Two distinct collections are available from Dolce Toys. Its Classic collection features a variety of plush toys in bright, primary colours designed to stimulate the young mind. Its Primo collection presents cuddly characters in subtle pastel shades without sacrificing the brand’s flagship interactive elements. In addition to being BPA free and earth-friendly, both collections are tested and certified to all applicable Australian safety standards.

Dolce Toys was founded in Europe by four industry veterans with a life-long passion for early childhood development. Every toy embodies their philosophy of DOLCE, an acronym which stands for Develop, Observe, Learn, Create and Educate. A philosophy that’s presented smartly on colourful display tags summarising every toy’s learning and developmental activities.
