After organising virtual trade fairs since the pandemic hit early last year, IHGF is announcing the return of its Autumn Fair to India Expo Centre & Mart this month.
Running from 28 to 32 October, the 52nd edition will be back in its physical form and glory. A wide-ranging collection of 2,000+ products and 300+ trend specific design developments from 1,500+ exhibitors in 12 product categories, IHGF Delhi Fair brings you an entire spectrum in home, fashion, lifestyle, textiles and furniture.
The last virtual fair was held from 19 to 23 May and was spread over 15 virtual halls with 700 manufacturers and exporters showcasing their latest products and ranges.
Everyone was looking forward to the physical fair earlier this year, but unfortunately the worsening situation in India made it impossible and the show was once again moved to the digital realm.
As we adjust to a new normal in line with the lifestyle changes brought on by the global pandemic, buyers can expect new products in a wide variety of categories that tap into the latest international trends as well as items that boast unique and local traditional workmanship and techniques.
Eco-friendly and sustainable lines include tradition inspired urbane lifestyle assortments in natural materials and seasonal derivatives like hemp, wool, silk, jute, bamboo, kora grass, river reed, burlap, etc.
Additional features include theme pavilions, trend areas, craft demonstrations, ramp presentations and knowledge seminars, besides buyer lounges and refreshment zones, creating an all-inclusive experience.
A complete road map for safe and convenient visitation is in place to ensure return to the fair as exhibitors eagerly wait to show their collections and welcome buyers. Also, visiting buyers will be offered complementary hotel accommodation for four nights during the show.
IHGF Delhi Fair is organised twice a year in spring and autumn by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), the apex organisation representing handicraft manufacturers and exporters in India.
