NY NOW launches new lifestyle platform

NY NOW is extending its footprint in the lifestyle market to address the ever-changing retail model with the debut of a new Luxury Lifestyle platform.

The platform will showcase a curation of lifestyle products including elevated jewellery collections, distinctive gifts and décor, and accessories.

“Consumers on average are earning more and as a result the retail landscape is experiencing a rise in demand for luxury goods, specifically those that allow for expression of personal style”, says Melissa M. Engongoro, event director, Lifestyle.

“We’ve carefully curated a collection of designers who will excite retailers with their unique points of view, innovative designs and luxurious styles, in a setting that will help retailers evolve and engage creatively with these buyers in their stores.” 

Lauren Brown will be curating the companies, products and designers for the new platform.

“My goal is to create an elevated experience for discerning exhibitors and lifestyle retailers to come together in one space,” she explains.

“There they can identify new opportunities and grow their businesses together in a like-minded community. We look forward to continuing to enhance the Lifestyle Luxury experience beyond its inaugural launch.” 

Further, TV personalities and lifestyle tastemakers Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia, who both rose to fame with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, will take the stage to headline a candid 'day in the life' conversation on everything from retail and current projects to décor, fashion and lifestyle. 

“I’m so thrilled that such serious design industry heavyweights as Thom and Carson will be here in NYC sharing the stage at our upcoming Winter show,” says Emma Smith, sales director, Home Collection at NY NOW.

“Given their chemistry, and fun personalities, this is set to be one of the most informative and entertaining of our panel and not one to be missed.”
