Entrepreneurial mums & the latest gifts in this month’s Mother's Day magazine

Jen Bishop launched her blog Interiors Addict in 2011 as a place to keep together all her interiors inspiration and ideas. When she was made redundant a few years later, little did she know her ‘hobby’ would become a very successful business.

Bishop became a mum after she had started Interiors Addict. In our Mother’s Day magazine she talks about her business, motherhood and how she combines them successfully. Read her story on page 8.

Bishop is not the only successful mum in Australia. On page 28 we chat to five entrepreneurial and inspirational women about kids, work and the ideal Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Day is one of the biggest sales days for retailers and as another is approaching, it’s important to have a plan in place and get your businesses ready for this important day. On page 20 Sarah Quinn shares her tips to maximise your Mother’s Day sales.

We all love to spoil and pamper our mums with Mother’s Day and one way to do this is with aromatherapy using essential oils. Read more about how essential oils work on page 24.

We also profile gift wholesaler, Annabel Trends, which has come a long way from its humble beginnings. A large range of its products is now manufactured here in Australia in its own factory including its latest collection, Peonia, which features great gift items for mums. Read more on page 44.

And of course we have the latest products for your store shelves on page 40 and 48 as well as a selection of the best window displays from around the world on page 12.
