Did you know that for 75 to 80 per cent of candle users fragrance is the main factor in deciding whether to purchase a candle or not? Colour is usually the second-most important factor. Indeed, research shows sales of candles are influenced by scent, colour, cost and shape with fragrance being the most important. Candles have always been a bit of a luxury item but nowadays people are quite willing to spend heaps of money on a candle that’s unique and looks great as a décor piece. Brands love using celebrities to promote their products (if they can afford it) and sometimes they collaborate on a specifically designed range.
