Design-led rug brand Miss Amara has expanded its cult-favourite Rollie Pollie Playmat Collection—releasing 26 new styles that blur the line between playmat and designer rug.
Originally launched in November 2023, Rollie Pollie quickly became a parenting essential thanks to its unique combination of plush memory foam comfort and safety-certified construction.
Now, in response to high demand, the range has been significantly expanded.
“As a mum, I couldn’t find a playmat that was safe, practical and genuinely stylish,” says Alexandra Weller, founder and creative director at Miss Amara.
Everything felt like a compromise. The response to the original Rollie Pollie launch proved that we weren’t alone. With this new release of 26 styles, we’re giving families even more choice without sacrificing design.”
Each playmat is made from ultra-soft velvet with plush 35D memory foam and a non-slip gel dot backing. At 20mm thick, they provide premium cushioning for tummy time, toddler tumbles and everyday play, while the colourways and prints have been intentionally curated to suit a range of interiors—from neutral, Scandinavian palettes to bold and expressive spaces.
“We design for how parents want their homes to feel,” adds Weller. “Soft, beautiful, liveable and made for real life with kids.”
The expanded range meets the Australian and New Zealand standards on toy safety and comes in both rectangular and round formats. Prices range from$299 to $549.
The playmats are easy to roll up and store, spot-cleanable and designed to age beautifully alongside your home.
