Natural, colourful cotton dhurrie rugs and cushions with a touch of metallic razzle-dazzle are the latest additions to the Amigos de Hoy boutique homewares brand, founded less than one year ago.
Hand woven in India, the dhurrie rugs are the ultimate statement piece in a surprising range of interior settings. Featuring lurex metallic highlights and a wide range of colour options across four designs including Petal which features a geometric, floral motif; Ziggy has a diagonal directional chevron pattern and Flip features a vintage inspired, subtle colour graduation with fun pom poms on each end of the rug. All rug designs feature matching cushions.
Stylist Tess Beagley and photographer Carrie Young have styled the dhurries in a diversity of contexts, from cute kids playrooms to sophisticated lounge rooms and 70s style bedrooms. The duo is committed to creating ethically produced, small batch and handmade products using high quality raw materials.
