Outdoor artwork designer Lisa Turley’s striking brushed stainless steel artwork ‘home’, with optional LED backlighting, completely dominated at the recent NZ Home and Gift Fair with orders of the new piece reaching a new high for Lisa.
“Retailers loved the size of the piece and the simplicity of the design, combined with the timelessness of the stainless steel” says Turley. “Adding the LED just took it to the next level.”
The designer’s new collection incorporates over 20 new pieces, all made with 100 per cent recyclable steel, finished by hand and suitable for indoors and outdoors.
Lisa’s new collection includes two collaborations: the Think Good Thoughts collection, with designer Liora Saad from Toodles Noodles―a quirky collection of recycled steel banners; and also a collaborative piece using words from up and coming American poet Tyler Kent-White.
“Tyler’s words really resonated with me,” she says. “I couldn’t stop thinking about them and I wanted to share his work on this side of the world.”
Home retails for $209.
