These beautiful cards are hand painted onto recycled tea bags by a group of women called Thimble in Sri Lanka. By using the recycled tea bags the tannins from the tea have created a natural individual coloured background for the Moroccan inspired designs.
Each card is a handmade work of art and is an important source of income for the women, their families and the community.
