The L&M Home Summer 19 collection has a global outlook that’s anchored in harmony and tranquillity.

“On a recent trip to Sri Lanka I took in the works of Geoffrey Bawa, the father of modern Asian architecture, and was instantly inspired by what I saw,” says Anna Lofts, director of L&M Home.

“He was the force behind a local evolution of international style, and I was drawn to the easy connection he created between inside and out.”

In this latest collection L&M Home has embraced global style, particularly through the prism of Lofts’ visit to this beautiful part of South Asia, with its new collection of homewares. You’ll spot the eastern influence in the Croft tables, Kiln vases and Lombok/Java trays.

The season sees L&M Home’s covetable block-printed range of table linen expanded to include several new prints (Evergreen, Fleur, Willow). Keeping in mind Bawa’s philosophy of bringing the outdoors in, the new table linen references nature, with floral designs that are organic in feel yet sophisticated and refined. And then there is Montalto, a relaxed linen-coton tablecloth and napkin range with contrasting trim.

New cushion designs expressed in beautiful weaves and prints are awash with colour―earthy ochres, striking corals, blush pinks, leafy greens and punchy blues―to celebrate seasonal tones and current global design trends. Cushion highlights include the new oversized Lumbar in velvet, Jaipur stripe in spice and pink, and Caravan fringed suede cushions to name a few.
