J Style has been importing teapots and tea cups in a variety of designs, shapes and sizes from Japan for just on 20 years.
At first they focused on traditional Japanese tea cups, but retailers told them their customers preferred tea cups with handles. Heeding the feedback J Style began importing tea mugs, at which point some customers said the mugs didn’t look ‘Japanese enough’ and preferred the traditional style.
Throwing their hands in the air, all they could do was exclaim, ‘why not have both’?
Every retailer has a different set of customers with different tastes and needs. Some customers only want a teapot. Some would like a single mug. Some would prefer a teapot and two cups packaged into a nice box as a tea set to give as a gift.
J Style has now upgraded its website so that every option is catered for and stock will update automatically depending on the availability of each shape of cup and colour of teapot available to make up tea sets to your custom choices.
J Style’s Japanese teapots, cups and mugs are available individually, or packaged into tea sets as Tea for Two sets, or Tea for One sets with larger mugs. Wholesale prices range from $5 to $12 for cups and mugs, $20 to $22 for teapots, and $35 to $38 for custom tea sets.
J Style will not be exhibiting at the Sydney Gift Fairs in February 2019.
