Villeroy & Boch debuted The Globe in 1971, an avant-garde design by Helen von Boch that consisted of four table settings nested together in the shape of an eye-catching orb.

Almost 50 years later, Villeroy & Boch is unveiling a new interpretation of this revolutionary idea with La Boule. Available in four iconic designs, La Boule is a unique twist on traditional dining that will appeal to discerning ceramics enthusiasts with an eye for exceptional creations.

A design object and stackable table setting, La Boule impresses with a perfect synergy of functionality and aesthetics. This porcelain sphere consists of a compact table setting for two, including premium porcelain bowls, flat bowls, universal plates and a serving platter. The assembled sphere has a commanding presence on the table or as a decorative feature in the home.

Each of the four looks has its own individual charm. La Boule black and La Boule white impress with their understated, elegant design with glossy white and matte dark textures.

La Boule black & white captures the eye with timeless contrasting colours, which come together in both shiny and matte textures for visual and tactile appeal.

La Boule memphis makes a bold statement, inspired by the style of the Milan-based ‘Memphis’ design group who caused a sensation with their work in the 1980s, featuring contrasting colours, unusual shape combinations, and playful patterns.
