For 60 years, Gibson Importing Co. has been a highly respected importer and distributor of gifts, homewares & fashion accessories across Australia. Servicing 7,000 active customer accounts within pharmacy, newsagent, independent gift retailers & department stores, we operate from purpose-built office and warehouse in Cheltenham (VIC). An opportunity now exists for a Head of Sales to join the business in a newly created role. Leading a highly engaged team of 11 territory managers and agents nationally, the Head of Sales will report into both the General Manager and Managing Director.
The Head of Sales will be a transformational leader and business partner who is commercially astute. The core measure of success in this role is the ability to positively impact key accounts and coach an established sales team, inspiring and supporting them to even greater heights. The role will require both interstate and international travel.
We have a strong preference for a sales leader who enjoys the cut and thrust of tangible products, exceeding customer expectations, and developing & delivering our ever-evolving ranges into current and new markets. Experience working within the toy, gifting, fashion or homewares industries will be highly regarded as is experience working in privately owned businesses.
