New vegan cookware launched at Hong Kong Home Instyle
Amercook introduced its latest cookware, AMVEGAN, at the HK fair, which comes with the V-label certificate.
Vegan should be something that goes beyond the food category, says Amercook’s Ashley Hu, who is based in China.
“Today everyone is caring more about the earth and health, and the green lifestyle is the trend of everything, not just our eating habits,” she explains.
“People are reducing, recycling and reusing, so we don’t want to go forward as a traditional trading company, but as a sustainable development company with creativity and social responsibility. To drive more and more people to realise the importance of protecting the environment.”
The AMVEGAN series is inspired by nature, but also deeply influenced and inspired by contemporary healthy lifestyles. Last year, the company acquired an olive farm in Barcelona to grow and get the freshest olive oil needed for its unique Olivarte coating.
“The products of AMVEGAN are made by recyclable raw material of aluminium alloy and olive oil contained ceramic coating. We also have the exclusive copyright of the coating, which is called Olivarte.”
Accessories such as coffee-to-go cup made by coffee grounds, a cleanse sponge of coconut fibre and tote bags made from jute, Amercook aims to find more opportunities to transform natural materials into ‘useful things’ under the V-label, adds Hu.
“V-label is the authoritative certification of vegan products on the market, that is to say, only products with the V-label logo can confidently say that they are vegan products. As the first cookware company that has obtained this, we insist on injecting personal style into the brand and products to make customers trust us from the inside and out.”
