If we were to draw a Venn diagram of people who like tea and people who like cats, there would be a pretty big overlap.
It’s no surprise then, that J Style’s range of character and cute teapots includes plenty of cat themed tea ware. While all cats are obviously adorable, there are certain cats that are more popular in the tea world than others.
For a movie launched in 1970, the classic Disney animation, The Aristocats, still has many fans. The cutest Parisian kitten, Marie, is a favourite on teapots and mugs, although younger fans probably just love a white kitten with a beautiful pink bow.
Speaking of adorable white kittens with bows, the most famous Japanese cat, Sanrio’s Hello Kitty, is now available perched on the handle of a mug in Hello Kitty’s signature red. Hello Kitty is the first truly Japanese character in J Style’s licensed tea ware range.
While he may not often make the list of most adorable and cute cats, Tom and his mouse frenemy Jerry are very popular with lovers of tea and cheese. It seems there is quite an overlap in the Venn diagram of tea and cheese lovers too. Bright and cheerful Tom & Jerry teapots and hug mugs make for a fun afternoon tea.
