Close to 5,500 unique visitors attended Global Sourcing Expo Sydney at the ICC Sydney from 17 to 19 June 2025.
The 22 per cent year on year increase shows there is still a need to connect Australia to the world, with 542 exhibitors from 17 countries including India, Nepal, Vietnam, Türkiye and Indonesia in attendance.
“This year’s record numbers speak volumes about the global appetite for reliable, face-to-face sourcing opportunities and the strength of our event in delivering high-value connections,” says Julie Holt, event director at International Expo Group and organiser of the Global Sourcing Expo.

“While 5,434 unique attendees frequented the expo over three days, 1,044 returned on separate occasions, underpinning an appetite for further networking, learning and sourcing opportunities over the course of the show.”
Indeed, of those surveyed after the show, 100 per cent confirmed that they connected with new suppliers, while 75 per cent of these attendees would recommend the Global Sourcing Expo to industry peers. In addition, 50 per cent are planning to place orders with key exhibitors over the next 12 months.
Feedback from attendees has been very positive according to Holt, with one guest noting the event provided them with a valuable platform to ‘connect with legitimate suppliers without having to deal with language barriers and online issues’.

The next Global Sourcing Expo will be held in Melbourne from 18 to 20 November.
“We look forward to another opportunity to showcase a stellar line-up of exhibitors and seminar series hosts at the upcoming event and urge any potential exhibitors to get in touch to secure their spot,” concludes Holt.
