AGHA gives back with The Launch Pad
The Australian Gift & Homewares Association (AGHA) recently announced The Launch Pad program, an initiative to invest in and grow the local gift, homewares and fashion markets in Australia and New Zealand.
As the peak body in the Australian gift and homewares industry, the AGHA is constantly looking for new ways to drive business within the sector, as well as nurturing emerging talent.
The Launch Pad is an exciting opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs which provides entry level participation into one of Australia’s iconic Home & Giving trade exhibition at an introductory price while being mentored by industry experts on all aspects of trade fair participation and marketing.
“As a not-for-profit, the AGHA has not designed The Launch Pad program as a money making exercise, but as a genuine investment in the continuation of innovation in the Australian gift, homewares and fashion industry,” says AGHA CEO Wayne Castle.
“We wanted to create a platform for entrepreneurs to see what the ‘real world’ is like and put them in a position to reach buyers, mentors and investors to help them reach their full potential.”
Could your product be the next big innovation in the gifting industry? Perhaps you’re using technology in a way not previously seen to develop your product, such as 3D printing? Or have an ingenious plan for integrating smart devices into the home or office to improve life for the disabled? Perhaps you’re using a sustainable material or design method not commonly practiced?
These are just some ideas and the AGHA would love to hear from you. To apply for The Launch Pad click here.
Home & Giving will be held 6-10 August at the Melbourne Showgrounds and Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Businesses can also register online to attend this free trade event at homeandgiving.com
