In a massive scoop for the company, VR Distribution has been appointed Australian distributor of iconic and much-loved toy brand, Duncan.
Well known for its classic yo-yos, the American brand will be introducing a much larger range of the popular designs down under, as well as its broad collection of interactive toys.
VR Distribution co-founders, Daniel Venning and Mark Rosser, say that bringing another big brand on board is a win-win for retailers and consumers.
“Duncan has an exceptional range of yo-yos and other unique toys, perfect for retailing and even better for play,” Venning enthuses.
Duncan’s yo-yo designs are extremely popular worldwide―the brand first introduced the slip string around the axle instead of a knot and additionally launched the butterfly shape, reversing the halves of the traditional yo-yo. Other toys include Kendamas, Diabolos, flying discs, puzzle balls and cubes, gliders and fighters, and juggling balls, rings and clubs.
“We will stock a substantial range of quality Duncan yo-yos and accessories as well as their other activity toys. This will give Australian retailers easy access to larger local quantities at competitive prices, and a broader range than ever before,” adds Rosser.
Aussie retailers will also have access to Duncan’s display units to show off several ranges in one spot and the company’s national sales and marketing manager, Mike Burke, is eager to see Duncan go from strength to strength.
“We look forward to working with VR Distribution to support the growing Australian yo-yo community,” Burke says. “Additionally, a key focus for Duncan in Australia will be to introduce our many new activity toys.”
Duncan Toys ranges will be available in stores from next month.
