Finmark introduces new gift wrappings & trimmings
Gift & Lifestyle Melbourne started off the Aussie trade fair season on Saturday 3 February with the toy fair following the weekend after and the gift fairs starting this weekend.
For Finmark, Gift & Lifestyle was a great opportunity to start the year after the Christmas holidays.
“Located in Melbourne, it’s a great fair for local and regional Victorians to visit and see what’s new for 2024,” says owner, Inga Carlmark.
“We did also see customers from South Australia and Tasmania which was fantastic too.
“Being a smaller show it’s a great opportunity to connect with customers and have the time to talk. We love the face-to-face connection and we love learning from our customers and hearing about the market—what’s missing, what’s trending. Their feedback to us is invaluable.”
It was also a chance to introduce Finmark’s newest releases to buyers including a full new range of 2024 everyday gift wrappings & trimmings. Direct from Sweden, the company showed new designs in wrapping paper across a palette of natural colours and romantic tones with patterns of palms and florals. Finmark also introduced a new colourful range of HEX (or honeycomb) rolls.
“Originally used for packaging, you can now buy the eco-friendly product in a vast range of colours including pink, green and blue. They are an ideal way to add a touch of uniqueness of elevated gift wrapping. Being the first gift fair for the year, Gift & Lifestyle is a fantastic avenue to display brand new items and re-engage with customers,” adds Carlmark.
Gift & Lifestyle had organised daily free speakers at the event including Shaynna Blaze and Jo Stanley. These helped to create a great atmosphere and inspire and motivate businesses while they were attending too.
“The overall feeling at the fair was very positive. Businesses were confident in their orders and were excited for the year ahead. We loved being a part of Gift & Lifestyle Melbourne and look forward to exhibiting again next year.”
