gl natural beauty launches Australian made, eco-friendly range
gl natural beauty is launching its first collection with a focus on amaranth, combining the best of Australian functional food ingredients to deliver great skin results.
Developed by skincare specialist Catherine Cervasio, who is best known as the founder of Aromababy, the entire product range has been produced in Australia, and features eco-friendly packaging and vegan-friendly formulations.
“I am delighted to have worked on this innovative project over the past two years,” says Cervasio.
“Creating a unique collection of products using Australian grown superfood ingredient amaranth is something that has not been done before.”
Amaranth has long influenced various cultures including Greek and Chinese. More recently it is being rediscovered as a unique plant with high quality protein, unsaturated oils and amino acids. It is becoming increasingly recognised as a true super food with proteins, dietary fibre and carbohydrates.
“In our first collection, we share the benefits of pure amaranth. Naturally gluten free, this ancient seed, once used as both food and medicine by the Aztecs, is grown locally in pristine, Australian soil and harvested at its peak for optimum results.”
High squalene content, naturally occurring tocopherols and lysine come together to help combat the visible signs of aging and work to balance and brighten the complexion, encouraging a youthful radiance.
Together with antioxidant properties of Kakadu plum, natural vitamin e, organic calendula and evening primrose oils, the range delivers outstanding skin results, says Cervasio.
“Natural and organic personal care is something I am extremely passionate about and I am really looking forward to seeing what gl natural beauty can do to simplify the skincare regimes of Australian women seeking effective, beautiful and eco-friendly products.”
