HKTDC reschedules seven trade fairs to be held concurrently in July
The latest Covid variant is still wreaking havoc in Hong Kong, which has impacted the organisation of the trade fairs in April.
Due to the ongoing (and newly introduced) restrictions, the Hong Kong Trade and Development Centre (HKTDC) has made the decision to move the April fairs to July.
Seven trade fairs will now be held concurrently in hybrid format and branded collectively as HKTDC International Sourcing Show.
The fairs include the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition), Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition), Hong Kong Houseware Fair, Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair, Hong Kong Fashion Week, Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair and Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair (co-organised with CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Limited).
The physical fair will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 5 to 8 July, while the online fair will run from 5 to 15 July 2022, offering a convenient one-stop marketing and sourcing platform to both exhibitors and buyers.
“We believe the online-offline model of International Sourcing Show will create synergy and assist exhibitors and buyers to make early arrangements to cope with the post-pandemic ‘new normal’,” the organisers say.
“We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to exhibitors, group pavilions, industry associations and buyers from around the world for their tremendous support for HKTDC events. We will continue to make every effort to help companies capture business opportunities through multiple channels and platforms.”
