Iconic Aussie kitchen brand wins 2nd global design award
The Stanley Rogers French Oven Grill Duo will be awarded the coveted Red Dot Design Award in Germany on 19 June 2023.
This is the second global award for design, function and quality for the oven grill duo, which won an Australian Good Design Award last year.
“We are delighted to receive this acknowledgement from one of the most prestigious design awards in the world―Red Dot,” says Greg Doyle, group product and innovation manager.
“While we are considered Australia’s most iconic cutlery brand, we have been developing leading edge cookware products for many years.”
Beyond functioning as a French oven, saucepan and stockpot, the Stanley Rogers French Oven Grill Duo incorporates a lid that serves as a grill, a roasting pan and a bread cloche when the lid is inverted.
“These recent international awards are a testament to the dedication of our team and their commitment to ensure that Stanley Rogers is leading the way when it comes to modern sophisticated entertaining.”
Unique to the Stanley Rogers French Oven Grill Duo is a magnetic trivet. This trivet is a wooden base with enclosed magnets so that when the cast iron pot, lid or both is taken from the oven the trivet can instantly attach.
When it comes to storage, the lid can be stored upside down fitting perfectly under the body and allowing other pots and pans to be stored inside.
Launched in Melbourne in the 1930s by Stanley Rogers, the brand is currently owned and distributed by Fackelmann Housewares.
“Recognition from two of the most prestigious design awards in the world is testament to the clever creativity, care and commitment our product team put into everything they do,” explains Mark Batson, CEO Fackelmann Housewares.
“While these recent international awards recognise one brand and product, right across the business our whole team are constantly seeking to bring smarter solutions to our customers in everything we do.”
