Giftguide chats to Lisa Pollock the artist, the entrepreneur and a true believer that everything happens for a reason.
How has the industry changed from the launch of Lisa Pollock till today?
In my 20+ years of trade, I’ve seen an abundance of changes, with one of the major shifts being technology and the digital world. This has seen us shift from handwriting orders to utilising online sales platforms and digital reporting. As an extension to the digital world, the creation of social media has meant we’ve all had to establish and maintain our online presence, giving us the ability to reach more of our beautiful customers.
Amongst this fast-moving, digitally inclined world, we pride ourselves on maintaining personal service from our national sales team and head office. Supporting our retailers and stockists by exhibiting at trade fairs, showcasing our ranges and merchandising ideas is paramount to maintaining our relationships. This is one constant that I’m proud has remained since launch.

Lisa Pollock recently added DWBH and Cereria Molla Australia to its portfolio. Can you tell us more about these brands and how they fit in as part of the overall strategy?
The DWBH brand appeals to a variety of markets including coastal, country and lovers of mysterious, exotic travels. This journey has unlocked an exciting avenue which has allowed me to broaden my palette and venture into fascinating new terrain, enabling me to curate the brand story the way I envision it. Customers are loving the return of original popular ranges along with the revitalised creative direction, adding more variety and originality to the homewares space.
Cereria Molla Australia, a sophisticated European home fragrance range, is completely set apart from the typical candle fragrance offerings here in Australia. With a rich heritage and bespoke philosophy, made in Spain since 1899, the ranges include hand poured, artisan candles with recycled glass vessels with organic cotton wicks. The brand offers luxurious, high-end candles, diffusers and home fragrance products that truly captivate.
One great point of difference available in our Cereria Molla collections are the extra-large format (up to 7kg) candles and reed oil diffusers (up to 3,000ml), which have been a show-stopping size to take in-store displays to the next level, aesthetically and aromatically, offering something impressively outsized compared to the standard sizes available in most home fragrance options within Australia.

What’s next for Lisa Pollock?
Once again, this year we will take the opportunity to showcase our new collections at Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne at the beginning of August. We can’t give away all our surprises just yet, but there will be brand new collections celebrating our Australian summer with designs that hold Christmas in mind and there is always a strong focus on quality products that are bold and fun, which incorporate originality and uniqueness our customers have come to rely on.
As part of the bigger picture, we have our sights set on gold and unveiling our new Australian Artist range supporting the Olympic Games in 2032. This will be a new endeavour for us, but we know anything is possible and we’re in training now for gold, gold, gold.
