Meet some Aussie Made brands exhibiting at Melbourne Gift Fair
More than 70 per cent of Australians have prioritised purchasing Australian made products since last Australian Made Week 2021, according to recent Roy Morgan research.
Therefore it’s important for retailers to stock up on Aussie products and the Melbourne Gift Fair is a great place to find and source new items for your store.
From 30 July to 3 August buyers can explore the MCEC (between doors 9 and 17) for their next Aussie Made best-seller from brands such as:
Pooch & Hound
The brand was born during Covid-19, when a fashion designer and an accessories expert wanted to accessorise their fur babies.
Unable to find anything in the market with original designs and a high end look and feel, they set out to design their own bespoke collection of pet accessories. Collaborating with a talented print designer, who spends hours hand painting the signature prints for Pooch & Hound, they set out to design a pet collection so good, you would wear it yourself.
Pooch & Hound is Australian owned and designed in Melbourne. Check out its products at stand 1411.
Roger & Peach
Starting off as a fashion label in 2010, founder Melinda has evolved Roger & Peach into a much-loved lifestyle label and one-stop-shop for all things fashion, gift and home.
With her love of florals her bi-annual ranges are adorned with botanicals and are designed by Melinda in her Newcastle studio and made in-house.
Check out her latest range at stand AL4.
Planet Revive
Planet Revive is a zero-waste business. All products are 100 per cent reusable and eco-friendly, helping to reduce landfill and waste in your home or business.
Even its offcuts down to the scraps are turned into products like fire starters, stuffing or used for craft at schools and day care centres. The company also works closely with charities to provide sanitary products for third world countries.
Its Unpaper Towels are made of flannel cotton, a 100 per cent natural fabric that naturally clings together.
They are designed to work just like a roll of paper towels (but just a lot better for our planet). The bigger the spill, the more you use. And the more you wash them, the more absorbent they become.
Planet Revive’s Unpaper Towels are reusable and compostable/biodegradable. Don’t miss these and other products at stand 907.
Ecoscential by Clean Green
Ecoscential is an Australian-owned business producing a highly effective eco-friendly range of cleaning products and an extensive range of home fragrances and fragrant soy candles.
The eco-friendly cleaning product range is produced in Queensland and bottled in the brand’s factory in Melbourne.
Ecoscential’s products are biodegradable, toxic-free, phosphate-free and septic safe, making them safe for your family and your pets.
You can find Ecoscential and its latest products at stand 1334.
Aussie Bronze Tan
After many conversations with cosmetic chemists and suppliers to source the finest ingredients of butters, colours and oils, and weeks of trialling and tweaking, founder Sascha finally found the perfect formula to launch Aussie Bronze.
Aussie Bronze Tan is vegan friendly, cruelty free, no DHA (dihydroxyacetone) fake tan ingredient, Australian made and produced, and toxin free.
Aussie Bronze was initially created and produced in her kitchen at home, but as the demand grew, she enlisted help and moved the whole production with a team to a local warehouse where it’s still produced today.
The brand also has warehousing in England, Canada, Denmark and Sweden to service its global customers.
Don’t miss Aussie Bronze at stand 1410.
