Meet some of the AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair exhibitors
The July 2019 Giftguide Directory Issue is packed with the latest trends, new product previews, trade fair reports as well as a close up of six AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair exhibitors on display this weekend.
So what can we expect to see from each one of them at the upcoming fair? Let’s find out.
Napali – Stand 705
Napali will be launching two new home fragrance products.
In the company’s Beach range, it is launching home fragrance mists in all nine core fragrances. This is a great offering as it allows customers to be able to enjoy their favourite Beach fragrance at the touch of the spray bottle, instantly freshening the air and creating a warm, inviting ambiance, says director Craig Searle.
In the Luxe range, Napali is launching luxurious hand washes in all six fragrances. With irresistible aromas, these luxurious hand washes are presented in matte black and matte white glass bottles with electroplated nozzles to suit.
This luxurious hand wash has been formulated using gentle ingredients that are not harsh on the skin. It’s perfectly PH balanced to soothe and clean even the most sensitive skin and is made from ingredients deriving from 80 per cent coconut, leaving behind a delicate and subtle fragrance on the skin.
“We are looking forward to meeting and showcasing our brand to new customers, and of course, seeing all of our current customers to show them through our new exciting products. The fair is a great platform to be able to see so many current, as well as new buyers across such a short space of time.”
Artiwood Educational Toys – Stand 1328 & 1329
Artiwood will be exhibiting its new brand, Bigjigs Toys and Rail, at the AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair. Bigjigs offers a comprehensive wooden rail system that’s 100 per cent compatible with popular brands like Brio. However, Bigjigs uses less plastic and offers a better price point without sacrificing quality.
The range includes comprehensive starter sets with trains, tracks and accessories; plus a host of add-on pieces like suspension bridges, fire stations and construction cranes.
“We’ve also got a comprehensive train table set up with plenty of track and accessories so you can try before you buy,” says Andrew McGregor, managing director customer service, sales & marketing.
“We’ve expanded our stand to create space for more than 300 new toys coming for Christmas this year. In additional to the new Bigjig’s wooden rail system, we have a new doctor’s kit from Indigo Jamm, a fully-featured life-sized village shop and lots of other new toys.
“The fair always gives us a chance to reconnect with every customer. I love hearing their feedback. You learn so much from every conversation; both the challenges and opportunities that retailers are experiencing every day.”
White Magic – Stand 245
The Melbourne Gift Fair is like Christmas for us, says director Craig Jones.
“We do five trade shows every year and the Melbourne Gift Fair in August is always our favourite. We can improve relationships with existing customers, we can improve relationships within our sales team, and we can meet new customers who would ordinarily not consider purchasing our product range.”
White Magic specialises in eco cleaning and storage 2 categories that no one else does. “We push the barriers by selling cutting edge products that no one else has. Our products sell across multiple retail channels such as kitchenware, gift, hardware, pharmacy, independent supermarket, etc.”
Why visit the White Magic stand? “You will find products that no one else has that really sell, you will find the most passionate and customer focused sales staff in the business and you will enjoy yourself,” adds Jones.
Theatre Imports – Stand 622
Theatre Imports will be launching its 2020 Easter range with new themes and more table decorations than ever before. It will also be the last touch and feel opportunity for the year to see the company’s Christmas 2019 items.
“We look forward to meeting our customers and seeing how they are travelling,” says director, Gloria Gattuso.
“We enjoy meeting new customers and give them a hand with what we are about and how our range will suit their stores.
“We travel overseas and are inspired by going to European countries during Christmas and see what is trending there, especially Germany. We then start to set themes and colour palettes that we feel will work in Australia and start building from there. Remembering most of the world is in winter during Christmas we need to adapt and work with the summer here,” she adds.
Buckley & Phillips – Stand 115
Essential oils are very much on trend these days, in line with the health and wellbeing movement that is captivating the industry.
Buckley & Phillips will be launching many new additions to its aromatherapy lineup at the upcoming AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair.
“Firstly we have six new unique 10ml blends including Mindfulness, Resilience and Immunity,” says Ben Phillips, who runs the company with his brother, Jon.
“We have also selected six of our popular essential oil blends and created pulse point rollers that you can take anywhere. And finally we now offer a range of aromatherapy bath soaks created with natural Epsom salts, clays, botanical powders and oils for a truly luxurious bathing experience.
“It’s been a very busy year creating beautiful new aromatic products inspired by those conversations. So hopefully we get lots of positive feedback. I hope that people enjoy them as much as we have in conceiving and crafting them.”
ColCam Enterprises – Stand 518
ColCam will have a fresh new approach to its signature coastal boho look, including new furniture pieces and woven décor.
“We are so excited to exhibit our new pieces ready for summer, launch new designs and especially meeting up with our existing and new customers,” says director Greg Collier.
“Our stand has always attracted positive feedback and this year we certainly won’t disappoint.
“We will have on trend homewares for the upcoming summer and a range of gifts for the festive season―at an unbeatable price point.”
