Online Retailer returns to Sydney in July
Following last year’s successful event, Online Retailer is back at the ICC with another expo and conference.
Held on 24 and 25 July 2024, there will be plenty on offer including international and local speakers, exhibitors and workshops.
Over two days the (ticketed) conference will feature the who’s who of the online retail industry discussing the sector’s hottest topics including AI automation, customer data optimisation and B2B transformation.
“We’re thrilled to be back this year to share the latest and most innovative new technologies and developments in the online retail space,” Online Retailer event director, Matt Smith, enthuses.
“We have an exceptional lineup of local and international speakers who will discuss some of the most important issues facing our industry.”
Indeed, speakers such as Kai Li, VP international from Revolve and Sarah Lukins, GM digital from Fisher & Paykel, New Zealand will be sharing key insights and top tips.
Local speakers include Christine Guerru, ecommerce acceleration director from L’Oreal Australia, Jarrod Calamante, head of ecommerce at Spotlight Retail Group and Joanna Robinson, chief marketing officer from The ICONIC as well as Matthew Robinson and Melissa Wilkinson from Personalised Favours and Sarah-Jane and Jacob Leung, co-founders of high-end gift hamper company, Good Day People.
Robinson and Wilkinson, who started the business out of her living room, are speaking about migrating and evolving ecommerce platforms to drive effectiveness and performance.
The duo behind Good Day People will talk about resilience and finding new opportunities during challenging times, something they can relate to as they started their gifting business Good Day People during the pandemic in 2020.
Following massive interest in 2023, the conference will again host a dedicated B2B transformation track that will help companies embrace digital technology and business transformation by illustrating new channels for growth.
In addition, more than 140 exhibitors will showcase the latest technologies and innovations at the expo, which is free to attend. On the evening of the second day, the Australia Post Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAs) will finish off the event with a bang.
“No matter the stage of their business or what they are hoping to achieve, Online Retailer Conference & Expo is guaranteed to provide retailers with unparalleled inspiration and opportunities to learn from industry innovators through our roster of panel discussions, workshops and networking activities,” adds Smith.
