Pots and flowers are on-trend for Floral Interiors
Going in with no expectations after a three-year hiatus due to Covid, Floral Interiors was pleasantly surprised with the turnout at Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne last month.
“It was a great show,” says Lisa Asciak.
“Coming out of Covid, we didn’t have any expectations. We introduced our new stand at the fair and changed the layout and it has been really well received.
“It has been nice to see our customers again, see new faces and meet new people. I would say new customers made up about 20 per cent, which is great.”
Floral Interiors had heaps of new products on display including ones they weren’t able to show to anyone for the last few years because of the pandemic.
“Pots were the most popular. Large and small, outdoor and indoor, décor, there was something for everyone.
“Artificial flowers have also been super popular because of Covid and the supply issues that came with it, which has driven up the prices of real flowers.
“That being said, I just think people are just happy to be back into buying and being able to see and touch things and connect with everyone again.”
