Fourteen new and innovative products from up-and-coming companies and well-established brands have been awarded for excellence in product design at the International Housewares Association (IHA)’s Global Innovation Awards (gia).
During the annual gia gala held on Sunday 2 March, brands such as Umbra, Roam, FIREUP Cookware, Eko Development and Aussie company Dreamfarm scooped awards in one of 14 categories including kitchenware, bath + personal care, home décor + gifts, cook + bakeware and sustainable products.

“IHA’s gia program recognises the creativity that is so important to the home and housewares industry,” says Derek Miller, IHA president and CEO.
“Innovative new products that not only solve problems, but also inspire and delight consumers will always be a key driver for growth.”

Entries were judged by an independent panel of industry experts, which included designers, media, retailers and buyers from Cooks Warehouse, Dillard’s, Divertimenti, Friedman Design, HTI Buying Group, In The Kitchen, Leon & Lulu, the National Building Museum, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Pampered Chef, Quality Products, Sign of the Bear, Toque Blanche and Yestis.
The awards are part of The Inspired Home Show. The 2026 show will be held from Tuesday 10 March to Thursday 12 March.
