Apple Park was founded on a vision for creating environmentally responsible and luxurious products for babies and young children. Its owner, Angie Ting, set out to create a collection of eco-friendly products for her two young children. Her vision was motivated by concern for infant health, the environment and the ecological impact of conventional farming.
Aa a result, Apple’s Park’s toys and baby accessories are made from 100 per cent certified organic cotton. They use Azo-free dyes containing no mutagenic and carcinogenic compounds. They’re also filled with natural corn fibre. In other words, unlike some organic products, Apple Park’s Organic Luxury range contains no hidden polyester.
This focus on naturally hypoallergenic, non- carcinogenic materials means that Apple Park’s Organic Gift Sets are perfect for a baby shower or a new-born child’s arrival. Even more so, when asthma and other serious medical issues are linked increasingly to chemical exposure in early childhood.
Apple Park’s Organic Luxury range includes eight stylishly presented gift sets. These are available in two compact formats. The first includes a 100 per cent organic cotton blankie shaped as a friendly animal, an apple-shaped rattle and a colourful story book.
Six characters are available including an incredibly cute monkey, an owl, a duck, a lamb, a bear and a bunny with adorably floppy ears. Collectively these characters are called the Picnic Pals. Through the pages of their story book they teach children about the environment, living a healthy lifestyle and the value of friendship.
Apple Park’s second gift set format contains a friendly 100 per cent organic cotton owl plush toy and story book that encourages children not to be afraid of the dark.
The contents of each gift set are presented in an open crate made from 100 per cent recycled paper printed in eco-friendly soy ink. Each story book is also printed on recycled paper using soy ink.
