Dolce & Gabbana has created an inimitable summer fashion story for the kitchen, in its glorious trademark Sicilian colour and form.
Sicily is my Love celebrates the homeland of the two designers, with the collection’s four pieces ablaze in golden lemons, prickly pears, bright red cherries, vibrant florals and legendary landmarks.
These vivid designs, in a sublime mix of reds, yellows, blues and greens have been applied by hand to a collection of award-winning benchtop appliances by fellow Italian appliance design house Smeg.
Smeg’s small retro-style appliances―citrus juicer, 2-slice toaster, kettle and blender―are icons in their own right, having won three of the most prestigious international design awards―Good Design, iF Design and Red Dot Design.
A powerful 800W blender is a recent addition to the Sicily is my Love collection, the original release comprising kettle, two-slice toaster and citrus juicer.
Each piece is designed to bring haute couture to the kitchen, in its most brilliant form, together with peak performance. The blender, with 1.5L Tritan jug, has a smooth start function and four speeds plus three preset programmes―smoothie, ice crush and pulse.
The 1.7l kettle features soft opening lid, limescale filter and 360Ëš swivel base while the two-slice toaster has six browning levels, reheat, defrost and bagel functions plus automatic centring racks.
The citrus juicer has a quietly powerful 70W motor that automatically activates as soon as a half-piece of citrus is pressed to its stainless steel reamer.
The Smeg Dolce & Gabbana Sicily is my Love collection of small appliances come with an Authenticity Certificate and packaging designed by Dolce & Gabbana.
