The Bigjigs story began in Peter Ireland’s garden shed in Kent, England in 1985. Ireland hand crafted wooden jigsaws which he and wife Liz sold at craft fairs all over the UK. Today it operates from a central warehouse in Folkestone, Kent and distributes toys to 93 countries worldwide.
Bigjigs recently launched its stunning new FSC collection finished in on-trend pastel shades. FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, an organisation dedicated to promoting and maintaining sustainable forestry practices worldwide. Its certification program ensures all the timber used in the Bigjigs FSC collection is sustainably sourced and manufactured.
The collection includes a range of classic wooden toys making it easy to introduce a popular selection into your store. This includes large pieces like the Activity Cube and Activity Walker. Both toys are packed with educational and sensory activities suitable for children as young as 12 months. The walker features protective EVA rubber rims. Its design also ensures stability for little ones still learning to walk.
