Drawing on the Moors
Merryn creates her figurative style illustrations from her studio overlooking the Yorkshire Dales. Camera in hand to photograph the local wildlife, she is often seen wandering the surrounding moors stalking the next subject for work.
Having studied for many years as a figurative artist, Merryn has a real flair for capturing the character of her animal subjects with a dedication to creating the most intimate details.
