Perfectly proportioned and delicately balanced, the new collection of flatware from Noritake has been designed to team with some of the brand’s contemporary table and glassware.
Castelletto, in 18/10 mirrored stainless steel, features fluid contours and elegantly flared handles in knives, forks and spoons.
Celebrating Pantone’s colours of 2016―serendipity and rose quartz―the cutlery is a perfect fit with the brand’s IVV handmade Italian glassware (Denim, Speedy and Vizio) plus its all white collections such as the eponymous Marc Newson and Baroque White. Even Noritake’s Parisian design Carnivale tea ware, in fine white porcelain with pastel stripes, is a match made in heaven.
The 18/10 stainless steel makes sure the pieces retain their shine, resist tarnishing and rusting and be completely dishwasher safe.
A set comprises a dessert and dinner knife; a dessert, soup and teaspoon; plus a dessert and dinner fork. Each piece has been precisely balanced so as to sit comfortably in the hand.
Castelletto is dishwasher safe and sold gift-boxed. A 24-piece set retails for $297, 56-piece set retails for $669.
