Legend Australia, the bedlinen and towel manufacturer licensed to reinterpret Florence Broadhurst’s iconic original designs, has used two of her most celebrated patterns to create an elegant collection of plush towels and bath mats.
While the two patterns have been deftly selected to create the perfect balance between aspirational design and fashionable colour palette, the towels are indulgently soft on the skin while retaining their deep pile, wash after wash.
Japanese Floral, inspired by Japan’s much loved Ginkgo Biloba leaf―and one of Broadhurst’s grandest designs―has been recreated in a striking and elegantly oversized scale in a 100 per cent cotton jacquard terry. With a lofty 650gsm weight the front of the towel features an embossed pile with woven plain border while the reverse is in a drop pile. Colour palette is azure, pink, silver, spa and white.
Circles and Squares, a geometric pattern of interlocking circles with squares, was originally designed by Broadhurst in the 1960s.
Featuring a plush 100 per cent cotton jacquard terry it has an embossed pile on the front with reverse drop pile and woven plain border. The contemporary colour palette of Circles and Square comprises black, indigo, papaya, pebble and white.
Retail prices range from $19.95 for hand towel to $39.95 for bath towel.
