Many families open up their homes to a myriad of pets, from fur to feathers and from scales to more fur. These pets become valued family members that are included in celebrations.
This theme is close to our hearts, as we are proud supporters of the RSPCA. At Sweet Themes, we are typically all about the sweet, from cookies to cupcakes and more, so focusing on animals is no different, but we certainly want to aim for pet friendly recipes.
Chocolates
Just in case you forgot, chocolate is a no, no, no for pets. But… you could use chocolate molds to mix up some chicken or beef stock and water to freeze some cool treats for summer. You can also buy doggie yogurt drops, melt them and set in our bone chocolate mold for a faux chocolate Easter treat. From miniature treats for the little dogs, right up to enormous molds fit for the big boys.
Cakes & cupcakes
Sweet Themes Dog Bone Pantastic pan is lightweight, made from durable plastic, oven and microwave safe and perfect for making a dog inspired treat. Remember, a cake doesn’t always have to be sweet, especially when it comes to animals, you can still use the cake mold, but go for a chilled meat option instead. If you are feeding the two-legged variety, and hosting a RSPCA function, then go all out with any cake flavour you like.
Cookie cutters
Sweet Themes has two different Precious Paws collections to choose from, all with quality stainless steel cookie cutters with each set purchase allowing a donation to the RSPCA. You can also purchase individual cookie cutters too. From assorted dog bone sizes, paw prints, dog house, cat and dog cookie cutters in various sizes, you can make treats for all of the family.
