J Style’s most popular traditional Japanese design, Kusa, is finally on their biggest selling product, handmade Japanese bud vases.

J Style’s bud vase collection always features a range of classic indigo blue designs in a series of sizes and shapes. To date they’ve swapped out this design on a regular basis, so that while it will always be a classic blue design, it’s also a little fresh and gives customers something to look forward to adding to their collections.

This year, finally, they have gone with Kusa, the most popular design across tableware, teapots and mugs and now available on bud vases.

It could be a little overwhelming to set your table in full Kusa pattern, but the popularity of this design is based on its understated ease of mixing in with other patterns. The traditional Japanese vine pattern is not too floral and not too plain and versions pop up in French, Chinese and other classic ceramic designs.

Last year’s bud vase design, Maple Blossom, is still in stock in some sizes while the switch is made, so if this pretty blossom and leafy design is more your style, now is the time to stock up before it is replaced.
