Miniland Dolls are truly unique. Racially diverse, the range includes Asian, Caucasian, African and Latin American dolls, all designed to help children understand the concepts of family, groups, relationships and coexistence and, most importantly, respect for racial diversity.
They also build nurturing and motor skills plus hand-eye coordination. Children are passionate about their Miniland world that includes boy and girl dolls in four different sizes (appealing to different age groups), a range of beautifully designed outfits to dress them in and mini-sized Miniland Educational toys to teach through play.
Axis Toys, the distributor of Miniland Dolls in Australia and the largest retail distributor of Miniland Dolls anywhere in the world has been busy building the Miniland Community.
“We already have a growing and invested Instagram following and work with our retailers supporting them in their Miniland Dolls marketing efforts,” says Paula Opfer.
“One way we have doing this is by launching a major cinema advertising campaign featuring a 30-second ad to run nationally through leading chains throughout the coming winter and spring school holidays. The bespoke ad was created especially for Australia by Miniland head office in Spain and is called ‘A World of Babies.”
The ad is designed to communicate the key values of Miniland and visually draws on themes of global travel, adventure and the anticipation of discovery starting in a child’s nursery and reaching out to the high seas and beyond. The ad also features the work of some very talented designers who have made a name for themselves designing handmade clothes and accessories for Miniland Dolls and even cots, baskets and more.
“We wanted to include their creativity in this ad since they are part of the Miniland family.”
