musluv is the first UPF 50+ rating muslin cover to launch in Australia. Generously sized (105x105cm), each cover is made from breathable and high-quality cotton with a cloud-like softness that is lightweight and kind to precious skin.
What’s more, each shields baby’s precious skin from damaging UV rays by blocking out over 97 per cent of UV radiation throughout the seasons.
musluv muslin baby covers are incredibly versatile and can be used as a baby wrap, baby sun shade solution, light blanket, pram cover, mat, car window sun shield or burp cloth, making them the perfect gift for expectant mothers.
Available in two designs; musluv classic cover, timeless and understated, or The Fly Away, Birdy cover which features a sweet songbird graphic with a splash of dove blue, electric yellow and red accents.
Founder of musluv, Natasha Jacquot moved from London to Australia and was very conscious of UV exposure for her newborn child.
“I noticed that some parents were using muslin wraps to shield their babies’ skin, but I soon discovered they were thin and porous, and were providing zero protection against the sun’s rays,” she says.
The design’s layered technology provides superior UV protection and retains breathability and tested air permeability for baby’s safety and comfort.
“I was concerned to see parents using blankets, towels and jersey-style swaddle wraps as pram covers, potentially trapping in air and creating a hothouse.”
And so, the design features cotton ties on each corner of the wrap that can easily attach to a baby carrier or pram, allowing for increased ventilation, for heat to escape and for air flow through the fabric.
musluv’s UV treatment follows the Oeko-Tex 100 standard of safety ensuring that it contains absolutely no harmful substances. Covers retail from $74.95 to $79.95.
