Alfresco Gardenware is a Melbourne-based wholesaler of garden décor and accessories with a special interest in environmentally responsible products. It supplies contemporary, bespoke and practical garden items for everyday living and its range is always changing to reflect current consumer trends in outdoor living.
ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE RANGE
Alfresco’s environmentally responsible range of products came into being due to the owner’s interest in all things related to sustainable gardening. The company is struggling to keep up with the demand for items such as its cabbage moths, honey bee and beneficial insect lures and insect hotels, bird and bat houses and even natural hessian sacks in a variety of sizes. Alfresco is also developing a range of useful enamel accessories to support garden provenance; storage of seeds, composting and management of tools.
GARDEN MINIATURES
Its ever-expanding range of garden miniatures provides a large variety of pieces for use in terrariums, fairy gardens and doll houses and can be teamed with dwarf plants and mini bulbs to create special areas of interest in the garden. This range comes in a variety of metal, wire, poly-resin and poly-cement pieces. Fauna gets a look in too with dogs, mini farm animals and flamingoes.
FLOATING PORCELAIN BALLS, FISH, ETC
Alfresco’s floating porcelain balls, fish and frogs provide the perfect novelty pieces for outdoor (or indoor) display. The popularity of our blue and white patterned porcelain pieces prompted the company to expand the range with orange/white Japanese Koi in a variety of styles and sizes along with small/large gold fish and assorted colourways of striped fish. Porcelain frogs currently round off the range but watch out for the soon-to-be-included turtles!
WINDMILLS
Its rusted metal Windmills have become one of the signature items in the Alfresco range which includes the more traditional windmill with tail, the fun lumberjack, petal power and double windmills and a hint of country in the tripod based windmill. A statement piece for the garden can be found in the extra large petal power and double windmills which stand at 260cm tall. Its new multi-coloured windmill with double spinner, standing at 200cm, is a fun addition to the range.
