Wheeler Hills Soaps founder Suzanne Irvine began making soaps a couple of years ago when her teenage son was experiencing significant acne on his face and back, which was affecting his self-esteem. He was prescribed medication, but the acne would always return. She decided it was time to look at alternatives and investigated natural remedies. That was when she discovered the value of charcoal’s ability to absorb oils and combined it with Teatree in a soap. It was the perfect natural solution to remedy her son’s acne and so Irvine’s soap business began.
