Janod is launching a new wooden toy range in association with the globally recognised character Sophie La Girafe. Janod and Sophie share a DNA and very close brand values, starting with both being French. Both brands also believe in timeless design, are widely recognised and have strong reputations.
This beautiful range of wooden toys has been designed by Janod to help stimulate learning and development of children aged 12 to 36 months through play.
One of the range’s more popular items includes a very French Bead Maze. This lovely beech and pine wooden bead maze and shape sorter will help children develop their concentration and motor skills while having loads of fun. It features two loops with sliding beads set in a very Parisian, Eiffel tower design. It also has a detachable Sophie La Giraffe to play with separately as well as shapes to fit in the base, assisting with shape recognition and dexterity.
The wooden pyramid includes five nesting wooden cubes that encourage development of coordination and sense of observation. Each side of a block illustrates a different theme―Sophie La Giraffe and her friends, numbers, letters and a Parisian landscape to piece together.
The Sophie La Girafe beech and pine wooden train consists of two toys in one. Three carriages that can be built to develop dexterity and imagination by stacking all of the blocks together and a pull-along toy to promote motor skills. It includes 14 colourful blocks with different geometric shapes to help children learn colours and to make their first creations.
Janod is a French brand with over 40 years experience, specialising in the creation of beautifully designed, colourful and original toys for children aged 12 months to 9 years old.
