The Teebee box encourages good old fashioned tactile open-ended play wherever, whenever, and can also double up as a lunchbox for any aged child or adult as it’s food safe.
The box is wedged shaped and fits comfortably between the child’s legs while sitting and when open the lids transform in to a lap tray perfect for playing or drawing.
Teebee comes with a sorting tray and plate for Lego, Mega Bloks, Kreo, etc, but works for all kinds of creative toys. Teebee is robust and can accommodate the smaller pieces of toys, which children are usually not able to bring on a trip.
The handy leather strap doubles up as a way to secure the box to the seat belt or to carry it―the design is on every level brilliant.
The range is available in raw white, red, blue, grey and pink and comes with a set of eyes to give this case a bit of character.
Teebee also received an Honourable Mention 2017 in the childhood category at the Red Dot Awards. It is suitable for kids three years and older.
So how did this great idea come about? Most parents recognise the frustration when travelling with kids fighting and making noise. The team behind Teebee had a goal to give children something different and better to pass time with than a tablet, especially when families are on-the-go.
Many experts warn about the side effects of too much screen time, eg tablets/electronic devices, can disrupt the child’s hormonal balance and can ultimately lead to loss of creativity and social skills.
Teebee is on a mission to challenge parents to swap their kids’ electronic devices with a stylish portable Toypod so they can get into some good old fashioned tactile play anytime anywhere.
