Axis Toys is launching three new baby ranges at the August fairs this year.
From Hess-Spielzeug there is the new natural baby range made from sustainable wood and finished with water-based paints. This new range features old favourites with a fresh contemporary look.
The range is extensive and includes pacifier chains, rattles, and baby gyms made in Germany using native wood such as beech and maple and locally sourced water-based paints. Hess always uses environmentally friendly materials in environmentally friendly conditions.
From Taiwan comes the Eguchi handmade range of mobiles made from FSC Certified wood sourced from New Zealand. Designed by Kentaro Eguchi―who has used his training in fine arts and his experience as a Montessori teacher―to create these natural gracefully designed bird mobiles that provide the effect of feeling the light, wind and rain.
From Austrian company, Discovery Bath Books, Axis Toys will be introducing a range of bath books with a difference made from eco-friendly PEVA.
These bath books literally develop with the child as their curiosity and awareness develops. The scenery in the book changes when dipped in warm water. This allows Pauli, the main character of the first book series, to ultimately gain new friends in what initially appears as a precarious scene.
In a further discovery stage, parents can use a specially developed app to bring the characters of the books to life. With augmented reality, as soon as the camera or any mobile device is directed onto one of the book pages, the device recognises the ‘hotspots’ and triggers multimedia content, such as moving 3D views, sounds and other features.
These new ranges and much more will be showcased at AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair in August, Stand L33.
