Spanish design specialist Vigar has cast its colourful eye on the mundane world of cleaning. With 60 years’ experience in innovation and design―and more than 40 countries selling its creations―Vigar has turned the boring world of cleaning on its head with its unique sense of whimsy and fun.

Just arrived is a unique collection of dishwashing brushes, hand towels, brooms and dustpan/brushes.

Colour reigns, in the form of vibrant geometric prints and 60s pyschedelic flora, along with a stylised feline-take on hand towels and dish brushes. And while colour and pattern are key to anything Vigar, practicalities are always at the forefront of any product design.

For the dish brushes, nylon bristles have been selected for their ability to remove stubborn food remnants while never damaging non-stick or enamel coatings.  And cleverly, the design of the brush includes integrated feet to enable it to stand upright when not in use.

The Hans Dish Brush, 23cm long, features charcoal grey bristles with a vibrant multi-coloured chevron patterned handle.  The Prints Dish Brush meanwhile, offers bright pink bristles teamed with a choice of floral patterned handles―three in multi-colours and one in bold black and white.

The Felix Cat Dish Brush is presented in the shape of a long-necked black cat with cute red bow tie.

Vigar has included a matching Felix Cat microfibre hand towel in Grey, this time with a polka dot red bow tie.  The microfibre is extra absorbent, gentle on the skin and fast drying.  It can be washed in the washing machine.

Retail prices range from $11.95 to $16.95.
