We Dream in Colour is an American jewellery label based in Salem, Massachusetts.
Founded over a decade ago by Jade Gedeon this unique, artisan range draws on her background in industrial design and art history, bringing a depth of authority to her work. Inspired both by nature and a myriad of art and design movements, We Dream in Colour’s eclectic range features organic shapes and whimsical motifs in concert with bold colours and rich patinas.
It’s a diverse range that really does hold something for everyone and is sure to suit a range of styles and budgets. A favourite of Katy Perry and Justina Blakeney (of Jungalow fame), We Dream in Colour has also earned some coveted press exposure recently with Zendaya wearing the label in Essence magazine’s 50th Anniversary issue and Kerry Washington modelling several pieces in Town and Country.
We Dream in Colour works primarily in (allergen-free) brass, its process varies across the vast design landscape; some designs are cast from reclaimed brass, some are painstakingly hand cut and hand painted, whilst others resemble puzzles that have been patiently pieced together.
In addition, We Dream in Colour strives to create inspiring jewellery in a socially conscious fashion with minimal environmental impact, avoiding harmful production processes and using non-toxic solutions to prep, clean and colour pieces.
Each and every We Dream in Colour piece is assembled by hand by a fully female in-house production team at its Salem studio. A portion of the profits, including one per cent of its net sales is donated to environmental and humanitarian foundations and charities via 1% for the planet.
