Reed Gift Fairs introduces The Hub in Melbourne
As part of its ongoing commitment to support local business, Reed Gift Fairs is introducing The Hub at the Melbourne gift fair this August.
The Hub will include on-site activation that provides premium opportunities for businesses to view interior design installations; live cooking demonstrations; and learn about the latest in technology and business resources to help drive business forward.
“This year we have ramped up the onsite content for our visitors, making it more relevant, inspirational and hands on,” says Louisa Theobald, exhibition director. “The Hub in the Boulevard Pavilion at Melbourne Showgrounds promises to be just that – the centre of activity.”
The Gourmet Hub features live cooking demonstrations including celebrity chef Anna Gare, or you can discover the latest in cookware and kitchenware on the market from Kuvings, Funtastic and Yarra Valley.
“The introduction of a demonstration kitchen in the Gourmet Hub is testament to the rapid growth of the kitchen, dining and housewares show sector and is certain to be a huge hit with the increasing number of ‘foodies’ who attend our shows.”
Tara Dennis will share her interiors inspiration at the Retail Hub, where she will talk about decoration, lighting and how to get customers through the door. While at the Retail Hub, you can also check out Reed Gift Fairs and Life Instyle exhibitors pitch their latest innovations and products for the chance to launch their product on an international platform with Innovation Pitchfest and international retailer, Tchibo. Also located at The Hub is Complete Retail, where guests and retailers have the opportunity to ‘talk techno’ and learn about the latest software development with Vend.
“The Retail Hub will continue to address business issues pertinent to our visitors. Trend forecasting and styling will be exemplified by celebrity experts such as Tara Dennis and Jess Hogan. Hand-picked food carts will provide an array of sumptuous treats. The excitement of Innovation Pitchfest, a Reed-exclusive Dragon’s-Den type event, where Reed exhibitors pitch their innovative products to International Retail Giant Tchibo, promises to be captivating. The Hub is a destination not to be missed this Melbourne August,” says Theobald.
