Style Bangkok launches two online buying platforms
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Style Bangkok, originally held in October, will not go ahead this year.
Instead, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Thailand has launched two lifestyle campaigns, Stay in Style Bangkok and Lifestyle Online Virtual Exhibition (L.O.V.E.), running from 11-14 August.
Stay in Style Bangkok is the gateway to the lifestyle fair where buyers and interested parties can browse, take the virtual tour of the fair, and create their own shopping list with comprehensive information on each product and each producer, in the comfort of their own home or workplace.
L.O.V.E. is an online business matching platform launched to support the lifestyle industry in Thailand. The export value of lifestyle products was $9,450 million in 2019, representing about five per cent of total export value.
The L.O.V.E. platform features four main product categories, including:
● Fashion and Leathers―fabrics and textile, garments and apparel, tanneries and other leather components, footwear, clothing accessories, bags and luggage, leisure and sport, and safety & hygiene products such as face masks and many more.
● Gift and Housewares―gift and premium products, office and stationery, toys and games, arts and crafts, and wellness products.
● Furniture―home décor, furniture, furniture parts and accessories, lighting, home textiles
● Niche Products―elderly products (60+), mom and kids, pet products
The next Style Bangkok will be held from 10 to 14 March 2021.
